Celebrating Vickie Hsu — 2026 National Model Worker Award

Meet Vickie Hsu.

Long before “ESG” became a buzzword, Vickie was already living it.

For over 30 years, she has been quietly building the systems that companies are now scrambling to adopt, ISO standards, GHG inventories, carbon footprint audits, sustainability frameworks. While the world caught up, she kept going.

And when most would slow down, Vickie did the opposite.

She walked into NCKU IMBA — into an English-taught classroom filled with students from across the globe — and started over. This is her 4th master's degree at NCKU. Yes, the fourth.

On April 23, Vickie was honored with the 2026 National Model Worker Award. One of only 91 recipients nationwide. Huge congratulations, Vickie!
