【演講花絮】Work-Nonwork Interface: Introduction of research program and recent studies on work-family balance self-efficacy

Today, we had the privilege of attending an insightful lecture on “The Work-Eldercare Interface during the Pandemic: In Search for Silver Lining.” The session explored the challenges faced by informal caregivers of older adults during COVID-19, emphasizing the impact of work-family conflict and enrichment on productivity, satisfaction, and well-being.

We learned about the importance of resilience and self-efficacy in overcoming these challenges, as well as how balancing personal, family, and work roles can foster growth and motivation. This holistic perspective offered us a deeper understanding of the work-life interface, particularly in aging societies.
