Grinding it out in the PhD program of NCKU IMBA was a tough one, for sure. But it is also a very enriching experience as well. You get to learn new cultures, new perspectives, and new meanings to not only studies, but also to life in general. As I have always maintained, the four years I've spent living in Tainan, Taiwan is and will always be some of the best years of my life, and in so many different ways that it would take an entire book for me to chronicle and describe. The rigors and the demands of the program built it me a strong sense of the importance of doing scientific research and making strong and confident factual statements that are grounded in science. It is because of my education at NCKU IMBA that enabled me to produce a variety of research work: Journal articles, book chapters, conference, symposium, and congress presentations, policy papers, and newsletter articles. It is because of NCKU IMBA that I was able to reach the rank of full Professor in such a short period of time.

The interactions with my classmates and friends built in me a strong sense of conscientiousness and camaraderie, making me realize the importance of respecting other cultures and other origins and why other people do the way they do. It is because of my experiences at NCKU IMBA that enabled me to value what it means to have real, deep, and rich friendships that cross geographical, social, and cultural borders: That no matter where you are and what you have experienced, you will cultures, new perspectives, and new meanings to not only studies, but to also life in general. As I have always maintained, the four years I've spent living in Tainan, Taiwan is and will always be some of the best years of my life, and in so many different ways that it would take an entire book for me to chronicle and describe.
